Pear, Cardamom & Lime Sour

Tangy pear kombucha with aromatic cardamom and lime, served fresh and uncarbonated for optimal flavor.

Ingredients
  • 1 large pear or 2 small pears
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 1 cardamom pod, seeds only
  • Tiny pinch of salt
  • 2 cups unflavored kombucha

Instructions

  1. 1

    Juice the pear and combine with lime juice in the bottle.

    Add cardamom seeds and salt.

  3. 3

    Top with kombucha leaving headspace and seal.

  4. 4

    Refrigerate for 24 hours to infuse, then shake gently and serve.

Recipe Notes

  • Makes 1 bottle (16.5 oz each).
  • Best enjoyed fresh and uncarbonated; refrigerating 2–3 days deepens the flavor.
  • Use a juicer and 16.5 oz bottle.
